Each month, this book club focuses on one of the countries of our fifteen Sister Cities. This book club aims to promote cultural understanding of international issues by reading contemporary novels and new translations of classics. Plus, we'll have unique snacks and drinks representing each country! This month, we celebrate Japan (Sister City: Kitakyushu) as we read the book The Memory Police by Yoko Ogawa, available at King's Books or below. For the audiobook, click here. We meet the last Monday of every month on Zoom. If you would like to get invited to the meeting, email Hunter. For previous reads, click here.
