Tacoma Sister Cities Book Club

Each month, this book club focuses on one of the countries of our fourteen Sister Cities. This book club aims to promote cultural understanding of international issues by reading contemporary novels and new translations of classics. This month, we celebrate Japan (Sister City: Kitakyushu) as we read the book Lizard by Banana Yoshimoto, available at King's Books or below. We meet the third Monday of every month at King's Books.
