Queerest Book Club Ever

05/09/2022 - 7:00pm

This book club is geared towards queer and trans youth, aged 10-16, but is open to all. We read fiction (mostly Middle Reader to Teen), nonfiction on queer and trans issues, and coming-of-age narratives, all with a social justice focus. May's read is Special Topics in Being a Human: A Queer and Tender Guide to Things I've Learned the Hard Way About Caring for People, Including Myself by S Bear Bergman and Saul Freedman-Lawson, available at King's Books or below. We meet the second Monday of every month on Zoom. To be notified of meeting details email Lisa. Hosted by My Purple Umbrella. To see previously read books, click here.
