Join us for the fourth annual Louder Than a Bomb - Tacoma, the Teen Poetry Festival slam finals. This event is the culmination of a month-long competition featuring over 100 teen participants, representing over 20 schools and community organizations in the Tacoma area. LTAB-Tacoma was founded in 2016 and is modeled after the original Louder Than A Bomb (LTAB) festival in Chicago. LTAB-Tacoma has more than doubled in size since it was founded and continues to play a vital role in cultivating creative self-expression among local youth. The event is FREE for students, adult tickets are $8 in advance or $10 at the door
LTAB-Tacoma is presented by Write253, with community partners Alma Mater, Tacoma Community College’s Office of Student Engagement and Washington State History Museum. It is partially funded by the Tacoma Arts Commission.
