This new book club explores writings about cults, both nonfiction and fiction. We'll explore such groups as the Manson Family, the Branch Davidians, Children of God, etc. This book club will be exploring the ideas behind what makes a group a cult and is not making a judgement call on any group. We meet at 6 pm on the fourth Thursday of every month at King's Books. October's read is Nothing to Envy: Ordinary Lives in North Korea by Barbara Demick, books available at King's Books or below.
