City Goats Book Talk

Join author Jennie Grant as she talks about her book City Goats: The Goat Justice League's Guide to Backyard Goat Keeping. The book covers everything from the benefits of keeping goats (fresh milk! well-kept yards!) to tips and techniques (what breed? what feed? what shed?) to the steps needed to legalize goats in, say, Tacoma. Jennie Grant lives in Seattle's leafy Madrona neighborhood with her family, including two milking goats, Snowflake and Eloise. She founded the Goat Justice League in 2007 to help change Seattle's city code to allow dairy goats in the city limits.
