2024 Washington State Historical Society History Awards

The Washington State Historical Society’s annual History Awards, supported by the James B. Castles Heritage Endowment, celebrates the people advancing the field of history in Washington through writing, teaching, historical projects, and understanding cultural diversity. Enjoy a reception with appetizers, a no-host bar, and a book signing with keynote speaker David B. Williams. Cost is $20 for WSHS members / $30 for non-members. David B. Williams is an award-winning natural history author. He writes about the impact of geology on our lives and the natural world. He has received numerous awards for his work. Williams will be presenting on his latest book, Homewaters: A Human and Natural History of Puget Sound.
