Books are everything. A lesson, a reprieve, an escape, and an expansion of the self. Since preschool, I have always been the nerdy, frizzy haired kid found in the reading nook buried under books during recess. I love Native American literature and non-fiction, a good horror novel that keeps me up at night, and any feel good story that makes me laugh, makes me cry, and makes me want to conquer the world. Also, my guilty pleasure is self-help books.

If Miguel de Cervantes & Lewis Carroll collaborated, this would be the book. A beautifully written 16th-century fantasy that, at its core, seems all too reminiscent of today's current atmosphere. It's as enchanting as it is hilarious. [Stacy]
