Literary Medicine: Body and Soul

Literary Medicine: Body and Soul meets the first Thursday of every month at King's Books. This book club reads works that are centered around topics related to medicine, such as human suffering, the human condition, and the experiences of medical professionals. We will be reading works that explores the lives and relationships of those who choose to contribute to the emotionally complex issues that oftentimes put our characters at the brink of life and death. If you are reader that is looking for a community of people who are interested in learning more about the healthcare system, as well as the injustices that exist in a world that is plagued by sickness and disease, please join our group.
