This brand new anthology features 77 Tacoma area poets.  All the proceeds from the sale support future publications of emerging Northwest poets from Exquisite Disarray Publishing. We'll be hosting a celebratory reading May 21

 

 

 

 

L'Arche Broadside

This broadside features a poem, "L'Arche Farm, February" by Kai Hoffman-Krull.  The broadside is letterpress printed by Jessica Spring of Springtide Press.  The poem is a celebration of plants, gardening, Spring and the L'Arche community.  All proceeds of the broadside go to L'Arche Tacoma Hope.  L'Arche is a community of people with a mission to create and sell quality products, support purposeful work for people with developmental disabilities and foster a spirit of caring for the land and people.  Size 10" x 13.5".  Edition of 110.  $25

 

 

 

 

 

Alice Paul Broadside

This broadside features a quote from suffragist Alice Paul, "There is nothing complicated about ordinary equality."  This piece is part of the "dead feminist" series from Chandler O'Leary of Anagram Press and Jessica Spring of Springtide Press.  The broadside is a letterpress print, printed from hand-lettered original typography and hand-drawn illustrations and patterns.  The wedding cake illustration is inspired by the architecture of San Francisco, epicenter of the battle over Proposition 8 in California.  "Prop Cake" made its debut at the 2009 Codex International Book Fair in Berkeley, just in time for Valentine's Day.  The poster was printed on an antique Vandercook Universal One press.  Each piece is printed on archival, 100% rag, recycled paper, and signed by both artists.  Size 10" x 18".  Edition of 108. $30
