Award-winning author Susan Cooper will kick off the first annual Puyallup Festival of Books with a talk and book signing! The night will also feature a performance by the Puget Sound Revels. Her new novel, Ghost Hawk, is a story of adventure and friendship between a young Native American and a colonial New England settler. The intertwining stories of Little Hawk and John Wakely offer an eye-opening look at the history of the nation. The event is free, but purchase of a copy of Ghost Hawk is required to get books signed.
